This is the first time i cook breakfast recipes with sausage which is casserole as breakfast menu. I assume that making casserole is almost similar with mac and cheese (but casserole doesn’t always use pasta). Casserole come from french word meaning “sauce pan”, a large dish which used to cook/serve food. It’s american cuisine, typically baked and consist of protein such as beef, chicken or fish and various vegetable. I will make casserole with veggies: broccoli and carrot. I choose chicken sausages as source of protein. You can make with other meat such as pork or beef. I will add mushroom as source of vitamin and beneficial minerals. Casserole usually include fastener element such as flour, pasta or potatoes. I choosed potatoes as source of carbohydrate. Liquids as chicken/beef stock, wine or milk can also being added on the mixture.

Basic ingredients for making casserole are eggs, cheese, milk and bread. I prefer to choose milk than wine because i don’t want to feel dehydration all day long. Drinks that contain alcohol sometimes lead to dehydration and sometimes followed by headache. This recipe is easiest food in the world to put together all that you have in refrigerator. The great thing about this menu is you can add anything that you want to the base. It also can be made for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

You can change the ingredients based on what do you have/preferences. Pasta replaced potato or beef sausages become subtitute of pork/ham. I use bread for making casserole, fresh bread put into oven/toaster.

Ingredients for making Chicken & Veggies Casserole, Breakfast recipes with sausage

  1. 3 large eggs, beaten
  2. 3 large chicken sausages, chopped
  3. 1 cups shredded cheese (cheddar/mozzarella)
  4. 2 tablespoon butter
  5. 2 slices bread
  6. 1 cups milk
  7. 1/2 cup broccoli, chopped
  8. 1/2 cup mushroom, sliced
  9. 1/2 cup carrot, cut into long pieces
  10. 2 medium size potato, peeled and diced
  11. 3 onions
  12. 1 tablespoon cooking oil.
  13. Salt
  14. Pepper
  15. 1 tablespoon dried herbs, i use dried thyme

Cooking method for making Chicken & Veggies Casserole

  1. Preheat a water in a pan, add potato and boil until flesh are perfectly soft. Boiled for 10 minutes in medium heat.
  2. Put bread in the oven (100°C, 10 minutes).
  3. Meanwhile, you can prepare the other ingredients. Chop the sausages, mushroom, broccoli and carrot.
  4. Potato finished, drain and set aside. Bread finished, cut into some cubes.
  5. Pour cooking oil in a pan, saute onion and then sausages until no longer pink and mushroom to release moisture. Saute for 5 minutes.
  6. Smash the potato until smooth in a large bowl, mix with butter.
  7. Add the sausages, mushroom, onion, cheese, raw broccoli and raw carrot. Mix. I prefer raw broccoli because they will be crunchier.
  8. In separated dish, beaten the egg, add milk and bread. Stir well.
  9. Pour the mixture of egg, milk and bread into the potato batter.
  10. Seasoning with salt, pepper and dried herbs.
  11. Transfer to a baking dish, top with cheese.
  12. Place to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes (200°C).

How to serve Chicken & Veggies Casserole, Breakfast recipes with sausage

  1. Cut the casserole, place into small plate and serve with some fresh fruit for breakfast. Sometimes i like to eat with chili sauce with a cup of hot matcha.

How to keep and reheat Chicken & Veggies Casserole

  1. Keep casserole in the fridge for up to 1 day. You can reheat in the oven/microwave in 180°C for 15 minutes.


  1. To make a casserole as dinner menu, you can change milk with wine.
  2. You can prepare the ingredients the night before, put in the fridge and bake it in the morning.
  3. You can remove bread from list of ingredients.

FIRST LOCKDOWN in 2021: Is It Possible For Economic Recovery in INDONESIA?


Lockdown plan is going to apply in some regions. A new development of the virus has made lockdown in many countries including several countries in Asia: Indonesia and South Korea. Government in some countries has legally assigned someregulations to ban all activities outside the house. In Indonesia, lockdown or commonly named PSBB (Pembatasan Sosial Berskala Besar) begin on tomorrow until January 25, 2021. It has been going third lockdown for capital city of Indonesia and other regions. Business in retail, hospitality, tourism will be getting huge impact because of this rule. Now, people must stay at home except for a permitted reasons and school have closed for students. For food industry, this decision wouldn’t make any changes because anyone can make order from home and technology has helpedto survive in second wave of the virus. The lockdown maybe will leave many firms fearing for the future.

In Indonesia, government has prepared special funds to overcome covid-19 problem and national economy recovery. On this year, government give financial support up to Rp 403,9 trillion. In England, government provide financial grant for retail, hospitality and leisure industry up to £9.000. Some companies are calling to get financial aid in order to survive during lockdown. Is it sufficient to burn out the virus and resolve economic problem? Corona virus are developing rapidly and much more easily transmitted to other people. In Indonesia, 836.718 confirmed cases were announced on Monday (01/11) by government. This number is continualy growing day by day. Many hospitals has filled with patients during the second wave in 2021.

Economist from Indonesia feels confident for national economic recovery in 2021by strengthening domestic economy. It will happen when vaccine was injected to people and people are obey to covid-19 protocol. The new restrictions were necessary to control corona virus outbreak. But, lockdown has an impact on national economy because some regions (case in Indonesia: Java and Bali region) give large contribution to gross domestic product (GDP). The government plans to vaccinate million people on January. It will begin with health workers followed by government officials, and religion figure. People who will get vaccine is anyone aged 18-50. Currently, Indonesia has own 125 million doses vaccine from Sinovac, 50 million from Astra Zeneca and 50 million from Novavax. So, total 225 million doses of vaccine has provided by the government. When vaccine is injected, the impact on economic has been appearing lately.

Today, Indonesian president, Mr. Joko Widodo become the first person who receive covid-19 vaccine (Sinovac vaccine). This decision was beginning of mass vaccination in order to clamp down on soaring confirmed case. He has got first injection, the second one wil given the next few days. He has injected at the state palace along with indonesian health minister and several senior officials as well as business and religious leaders. Indonesia was targeting to inoculate 67% of the population in stages over next 15 months. When first vaccine was giving to mr. president, capital market has gave signs of recovery. US dollar was weakenening.

In 2021, several policy strategy were published to become part of solution, such as: open several productive sectors, accelerating fiscal stimulus (budget realization), increasing credit from demand and supply side, monetary stimulus and macroprudential policy and digitizing economic and finance for micro businesses. In 2021, economic growth in Indonesia has predicted to growing 4,8-5,8%, supported by export performance, private and government consumption, investment value from government capital expenditure and foreign investment. It is positive response from new job creation law.

On the other side, fiscal policy priorities in 2021 divided become 4 section. First of all, continuing and accelerating the national economic recovery. This priority is going to achieve with eradication of corona virus and recovering the economy as soon as possible. Second, strengthen and structural reforms. Government will improve investment climate, economic competitiveness and increase quality of human capital. Third, budget reform related to revenue sector and quality of spending (corona virus has eliminated some government activities, switch to virtual activity). Forth, accelerating development priorities in several important sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, information technology and food security.

World bank has stated global economic growth in 2021 is 4 percent. This year, World bank assesses that economic performance is still low compared to economic growth before corona virus pandemic attacked. Despite economic has been recovering, the global economic is still full of uncertainty. However, the vaccination become a main solution to restore global economic in the future.

Hey food lovers! Happy new year, wishing all the best for you in 2021! I am going to upload a breakfast recipe after several main course recipe. This is the easiest and quickest breakfast recipes with egg, anyone can make at home with tons of variations. This menu use 3 main ingredients: egg, veggies and bread. I prefer to choose whole wheat bread because made from 100% whole-wheat flour, high in fiber, vitamins and minerals so maintain our blood sugar and keep you full until lunch time. Veggies that i will use are lettuce, baby spinach, carrot, tomato, green bell pepper and pease. Without a doubt, egg has a lot of benefits for human health. Not only high of protein and vitamins but also contain omega 3 and antioxidant. This fact make an egg become superfood.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but most people don’t have time to make a huge meal (busy in the morning, don’t have time to clean up afterwards or huge meal make some people feel sleppy at the morning). This recipe combine whole bread (source of carbohydrate), egg (source of protein) and veggies (source of vitamins. I think that is perfect combination! This recipe saves time because everything happens in one skillet.

It’s been long time ago, John Montago had found sandwich because she had a substantial gambling problem that led him to stay at the table. He asked the housemaid to bring food that he can eat without leaving the table. Montagu like the food and the recipe develop become popular menu in London. Another omelette sandwich recipe sometimes add bacon, ham or beef but on this occasion i don’t use it because they are processed meat. I want to make a breakfast menu as healthy as possible. Ingredients for Healthy Omelette Sandwich,  Breakfast Recipes with Egg

  1. 4 tablespoon unsalted butter
  2. 8 small egg, beaten
  3. 1 stalk onion leaves, chopped
  4. 4 leaf lettuce, wash and dry
  5. 80 gram baby spinach, wash and dry
  6. 1 carrot, chopped into long and thin strips
  7. 1 tomato, sliced become 4 strips
  8. 1/2 green bell pepper, cut into dice
  9. 50 g pease, wash and dry
  10. 1 tablespoon chili flakes
  11. 2 tablespoon parsley
  12. 1 teaspoon salt
  13. A pinch of pepper
  14. 8 slices whole wheat bread
  15. 200 g mozzarella cheese, slice into thin strips

How to Cook Healthy Omelette sandwich

  1. Preheat water in the pan, boil carrot and pease for around 10 minutes. Drain, place into a separate dish.
  2. In a bowl beat egg, add onion leaves, green bell pepper, chili flakes, salt and pepper. Stir perfectly.
  3. Add boiled carrot and pease into the bowl. Mix together.
  4. Coat nonstick skillet with unsalted butter, tilt left and right side until all the surface exposed with butter.
  5. Pour 1/4 mixture of egg and vegetable into the pan.
  6. Place 2 slice bread above the egg, leave for 2 minutes.
  7. Flip the bread.
  8. Add lettuce, baby spinach and tomato on one slice of bread. Add cheese and sprinkle parsley.
  9. Fold the egg that not covers with bread (bottom and two sides), then fold one slice of bread over the second bread.
  10. Cook for 1 minutes. Repeat until done.
  11. Enjoy your sandwich!

  1. You can change the veggies with avocado.
  2. You can skip using cheese and just make omelette sandwich.

Asian Recipes Chicken, Delicious Crispy Chicken SUSHI

It’s time for chicken processed into Japanese dish! When you hear “sushi”, what do you think at the first time? Raw fish? The word actually refers to a dish of rice with vinegar served with multiple fillings and toppings include raw fish. At the beginning, sushi was created as preservation, when fermented rice used to store fish and keep it fresh during travel to consumer. This method can protect raw fish up to one year.

A. Ingredients for Asian Recipe Chicken, Crispy Chicken Sushi


  1. 5 pcs seaweed (nori) sheets
  2. 450 g short grain Japanese rice (you can use seasoned rice)
  3. 5 leaf lettuce
  4. 1 pcs avocado, sliced into thin strips
  5. 1/2 cup of rice vinegar
  6. 4 cups water, pour into the rice
  7. Cucumber, cut into many cubes

Filling (crispy chicken)

  1. 250 g boneless chicken breast, cut around 1 cm (thin and long strips)
  2. 5 cloves garlic, smash it
  3. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  4. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  5. 1 egg, mix
  6. 150 g all purpose flour
  7. 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  8. Olive/cooking oil, to fry the chicken


  1. 5 tablespoon mayo
  2. 3 tablespoon chili sauce
  3. Wasabi, as you needed

B. Instructions for Cooking Asian Recipes Chicken, Crispy Chicken Sushi

  1. Cook the sushi rice with rice cooker. Leave it for 25 minutes.
  2. While the rice cooks, seasoning the chicken with garlic, salt and pepper. Leave it for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour all purpose flour and cornstarch into separated dish.
  4. Add the chicken into a bowl with egg, next into a mixture of flour and cornstarch.
  5. Fry the chicken until golden brown.
  6. When the rice has finished cooking, pour the rice with rice vinegar.
  7. Remove rice from heat, move in a bowl, let it cool.
  8. Let’s make the sauce while the rice will be cold. Leave it for 10 minutes.
  9. Rice was cold. You will ready to roll!
  10. Prepare a bamboo mat, wrap it in plastic wrap.
  11. Lay a sheet of nori, add the rice (spread with spoon), mayo, crispy chicken, lettuce and cucumber. Roll and squeeze.
  12. Slice into some part with a thickness around 2 cm.
  13. Next, add the avocado as the topping. Arrange on the plate and enjoy!

C. Instruction for Making Sushi Sauce, Asian Recipes Chicken

  1. Mix mayo and chili sauce, stir it. Adjust to your spicy level.
  2. Add wasabi. Pour into separate dish.

  1. You can use electric rice cooker to cook sushi rice. If cook with manual method, it will takes time.
  2. Sushi have to eat in fresh condition.
  3. You can use mushroom to replace raw fish/chicken (vegetarian option).

LILIT SATAY, An Asian Recipes For Chicken

Satay is meat dish that marinated, twisted, grilled and served with rice wrapped in leaves (commonly caled: lontong). That dish are popular dish from Indonesia, serve with peanut sauce and accompanied with chili sauce. This asian recipe chicken are well known not only in asia but also in the world. You can meet satay as signature dish when you traveling around the world by plane.

Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Brunei also admit satay as international dish, where it has adapted style and taste of the people live in that country. On this recipe, i will make lilit satay from Bali, indonesia. The word ‘lilit’ roughly means wrap around. This cuisine is become the most interesting food for tourist and anyone who will visiting Bali. Twisted satay actually use pork or fish as main ingredients. I will subtitute with boneless chicken and add curry paste. Spicy, sweet and savory are appeared as specific taste of the food.

Normally, satay wrapped around bamboo skewers but you can replace with lemongrass stalks or stainless steel (use for goat meat). On this occasion, i will utilize bamboo skewers. Lilit satay served with side dish such as: rice and tuna. There is special chili sauce called sambal matah which accompanied the cuisine. Happy cooking, good luck!

Ingredients for Lilit Satay – Asian Recipes for Chicken

  1. 300 g boneless chicken, grind
  2. 100 g coconut, shredded and fried without oil
  3. 1 tablespoon curry paste
  4. 1 teaspoon chicken broth powder
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  7. 20 pcs bamboo skewer

Ground Spices

  1. 4 pcs chili
  2. 4 pcs cayenne
  3. 4 pcs onion
  4. 3 pcs garlic
  5. 2 cm ginger
  6. 2 cm turmeric
  7. 3 tablespoon olive oil/cooking oil

‘Sambal matah’

  1. 2 stalk lemongrass
  2. 8 pcs chili
  3. 3 lime leaves
  4. 8 onion
  5. 3 cloves garlic
  6. 3 tablespoon cooking oil
  7. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  8. 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  9. 2 tablespoon lime juice

Instructions for Lilit Satay, Asian Recipes for Chicken

  1. Grind the spices or place all the ground spices in a food processor.
  2. Preheat cooking oil in a wok, add the ground spices for 2 minutes.
  3. Pour curry paste and saute until fragrant around 5 minutes. Leave in separate dish.
  4. Mix ground spices, chicken, shredded coconut, chicken broth, salt and pepper.
  5. Divided into 20 parts.
  6. Wash your hands. Scoop 2-3 tablepoon the meat mixture, mold and press to make a solid texture. Repeat until done.
  7. Preheat the grill. Grease satay with oil and soy sauce (if you like). Grill until cooked perfecly.

Instruction to make Sambal Matah, Asian Recipes for Chicken

  1. Chop lemongrass and garlic.
  2. Preheat cooking oil in a wok, pour and stir to mix until golden brown around 5 minutes. Leave it on separated dish.
  3. Cut the lime leaves into small part, remove the middle part of the leaves.
  4. Cut the onion and chili.
  5. Mix them all together, give seasoning. Stir well.
  6. Add the lime juice, mix.
  7. Ready to serve. You can store in refrigerator for one week maximum.


  1. Soak the bamboo skewers in water for few minutes. It will prevent the skewers burning when grilled.
  2. If you use lemongrass stalks as skewer, cut the stalks into 2 parts and remove outer layer.

Asian Cuisine, Siomay Recipe (Indonesian Steamed Dumplings)

Dumpling is a broad classification for food that consists of dough wrapped with a filling or just dough with no filling. When you mention dumplings, people have multiple images in their minds depend on where they’re come from. If they come from African, dumplings is Banku or Kenkey. But if someone come from Chinese, dumplings commonly called dim sum. Dumpling in American looks like soup with chicken broth and vegetables. Dumplings considered as a very popular asian cuisine.

Dumplings can be done with a various method such as boiling, frying, pan fried or steaming. Each family has its own option to choose meat fillings. Pork, beef, chicken, fish and shrimp are the most common filling. I will choose chicken and shrimp as filling on this dumplings recipe. Dumplings can be prepared in different sauce upon preference or request.

We will make a dumplings from Indonesia, it’s widely known as siomay. Siomay are made from chicken/fish dumpling along with veggies, potato, egg and tofu. On the top of the dumplings, you can see orange dot/fish roe/carrot. How to eat siomay? You can add peanut sauce or chili sauce on the top of it. On this recipe, we will make the dipping sauce combination from soy sauce, vinegar and chili paste. You can make your own chili sauce or find it in supermarket.

They are super yummy if you make them the right way. And guess what?! You don’t even need a bamboo steamer!

A. Ingredients for an Asian Cuisine Indonesian Dumplings

Dumpling Dough

  1. 150 g all purpose flour
  2. 100 g high protein flour
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 125 ml warm water

If you don’t want to make dumpling dough, you can make with finished dumpling dough which sold in supermarket.

Dumpling Filling

  1. 200 g boneless chicken meat
  2. 135 g prawns/shrimp, peeled and deveined
  3. 4 tablespoon tapioca flour
  4. 1 pcs egg
  5. 150 g carrot, shredded
  6. 3 stem garlic leaves
  7. 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  8. 1 teaspoon sea salt
  9. 4 clove garlic
  10. 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  11. 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  12. 1/2 teaspoon chicken broth powder
  13. 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  14. 1/2 pcs carrot, shredded for topping

Dipping Sauce

  1. Soy sauce, as you needed
  2. White/black vinegar, as you needed
  3. Chili paste, as you needed

Complementary Ingredients

  1. Egg, boiled
  2. Sweet potato, boiled
  3. Cabbage, boiled
  4. Tofu, boiled

B. How to Cook Asian Cuisine Indonesian Dumplings

Preparation of the Dough

  1. Place all purpose flour, high protein flour and salt ito large bowl.
  2. Stir and mixed with spoon until it becomes blended perfectly – about 2 minutes.
  3. Knead the dough until the dough don’t stick on your hand. – about 10 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough with napkin, leave for 15 minutes. This process useful for rest the dough.
  5. Knead the dough again for around 5 minutes.
  6. Cover the dough and leave it again for 1 hour.
  7. Divide the dough become 4 part, you can use knife or weighed with scales.
  8. Grind the dough with rolling pin and molded into a circle diameter around 10 cm.

To Make the Dumpling

  1. Place chicken meat and shrimp in a blender/chopper.
  2. Add garlic and egg.
  3. Turn on blender/chopper, grind chicken and meat until it becomes crumbly.
  4. Place it into a large bowl.
  5. Add the ingredients: pepper, chicken broth powder, salt, sugar, sesame oil and oyster sauce. Stir well and mix vigorously with a spoon.
  6. Add tapioca flour, shredded carrot and garlic leaves. Mix until just blended.
  7. Now we will add the fillings into the dough. Prepare warm water and shredded carrot for topping.
  8. Lubricate the dough with warm water (on the top of the dough), form an “O” with your forefinger and thumb. Add the fillings and pinch side of the dough until the fillings covered.
  9. Add shredded carrot on the top of the dumplings.

To Cook the Dumpling for Asian Cuisine

  1. Steam the dumplings for 40 minutes, or until well done.
  2. Move the dumplings into a large plate and serve warm with dipping sauce!
  3. Add potato, veggies, egg and tofu.

How to Cook Dipping Sauce

  1. Prepare soy sauce, vinegar (white/black), chili paste.
  2. Mix them based on your preference/taste. I choose 3 tablespoon soy sauce, 1 tablespoon vinegar and 1 tablespoon chili sauce (as much spicy I can handle)

Notes for Indonesian Dumplings as an Asian Cuisines

  1. If you have seafood allergy, use pork or just chicken meat.
  2. You can add mushrooms especially shiratake. Soak for 20 minutes with boiling water, squeezed out. Chopped, you can add into the dumplings fiiling.

You can use regular steamer, bamboo steamer or micromawe to cook the dumplings.

Ini mengingatkan kita bahwa pikiran dan tubuh adalah satu kesatuan yang saling berkaitan. Mempertahankan pikiran yang aktif adalah salah satu faktor kunci menjaga tubuh tetap awet muda. Tentu harus dibarengi dengan usaha menjaga pola hidup sehat. Jika ingin tetap muda dan sehat, anda harus aktif secara pikiran dan secara fisik. Aktif secara pikiran dengan melakukan brain workout. Berinteraksi dengan orang lain, bertemu orang baru, bermain games, mempelajari hal baru merupakan contoh-contoh brain workout. Tentu ini tidak sulit bukan? Pada bab 2 penulis mengungkapkan gagasannya bahwa penting untuk memiliki kadar stress namun dalam level yang rendah. Penelitian oleh Universitas Calfornia membuktikan bahwa seseorang yang pernah stress cenderung hidup lebih lama. Ada beberapa tips lain untuk menjaga tubuh tetap sehat antara lain: jangan terlalu lama duduk, tidur yang cukup, lakukan hobi anda, bermain dengan hewan peliharaan, hindari stress dan berjemur setiap hari.

Konsep logotherapy akan menuntun pembaca menemukan alasan hidup masing-masing. Beberapa studi kasus dipaparkan agar pembaca paham bagaimana logotherapy dapat membantu seseorang menerima keadaan dan merasa hidup kembali. Konsep Morita therapy juga perlu dicermati. Prinsip-prinsip dan 4 tahapan dalam menjalani terapi Morita selama 15-20 hari disampaikan di bab ini. Selain dua terapi di atas, meditasi juga perlu dilakukan untuk mencapai kondisi Zen (kondisi tenang dan terlepas dari gangguan). Tujuan utamanya adalah untuk menemukan ikigai.

Unsur utama untuk mencapai ikigai adalah kemampuan untuk mencapai kondisi flow. Kondisi flow adalah keadaan dimana seseorang begitu terlibat dalam suatu aktivitas sehingga memberikan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dan tak ada hal lain yang lebih penting dibandingkan pengalaman itu sendiri. Saya yakin anda pernah berada dalam kondisi ini namun baru menyadarinya saat ini. Ini dapat dicapai dengan berbagai strategi: pilihlah tugas yang sulit (ini akan menantang kita keluar dari zona nyaman), milikilah tujuan yang jelas dan konkret dan fokuslah pada satu tugas (anda bisa merinci satu tugas menjadi beberapa bagian sehingga lebih mudah dikerjakan).

Bab lima berisikan nasehat dan saran dari orang-orang yang berumur panjang. Dari banyak ulasan, mayoritas memberikan saran untuk menjaga pikiran dan tubuh kita tetap aktif. Bab ketujuh membahas tentang pola makan penduduk di Ogimi. Antioksidan juga zat yang tak boleh dilupakan dalam konsumsi harian. Wortel, tofu, kentang, rumput laut, bawang adalah contoh makanan-makanan yang mengandung antioksidan.   1. 6 tablespoon tomato sauce
  2. 3 tablespoon butter, melt
  3. 3 tablespoon honey
  4. 4 clove garlic, shredded
  5. 1 tablespoon lime juice

  1. Prepare the wings, wash and make slices on both sides with knife.
  2. Marinate it with pepper and salt. Leave it for 10 minutes.
  3. Mix tomato sauce, melted butter, garlic, honey and lime juice in separate dish.

Chicken Katsu

  • 500 gram chicken breast
  • 200 ml fresh milk
  • ½ tablespoon salt
  • ½ tablespoon white pepper
  • ½ tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 cup cooking oil for frying, or as needed

Coating Ingredients

  • 100 gram all purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 150 gram bread crumbs

Salad Ingredients

  • 100 gram white cabbage, shredded
  • 100 gram purple/red cabbage, shredded
  • 100 gram carrot, shredded
  • Mayonaise
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 pcs lime
  • Sugar, as are needed

Sauce Ingredients

  • Tomato sauce
  • 3 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 4 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar

Easy Preparation for Asian Recipes with Chicken

  • If you use other part of chicken breast, make sure you have cut all the visible fat. These fats usually look in white color.
  • Cut and pounded it into ½ inch thickness.
  • Mix salt, white pepper and garlic powder into separate dishes.
  • Mix egg and fresh milk into a bowl.
  • Prepare coating ingredients: all purpose flour, egg+milk and bread crumbs into different dishes.

How to Cook Asian Recipes with Chicken

Chicken Katsu

  1. Season the breast on the both side with salt, white pepper and garlic powder mixture. Leave for 5 minutes.
  2. Coat the chicken breast first in flour, second in mixture of egg and milk, third roll over on the bread crumbs until coat perfectly on both side. Shaking of any excess.
  3. Pour cooking oil into the frying pan.
  4. Place it onto the hot oil with 170°C temperature, cook on the both side for 4-5 minutes or until golden-brown.
  5. Lift from frying pan, drain.


  1. Cut lime and squeezed.
  2. Mix with sesame oil and soy sauce, stir well. Add sugar.
  3. Add mayonaise and add the chopped veggies.


  1. Mix all the ingredients, stir well, place on the small plates.
  2. Serving Suggestion
  3. Add rice on the plate (if you like). Slice the chicken katsu, put on the top of the rice.
  4. Put sauce or pour on top of chicken katsu.
  5. Ready to serve and eat.
  6. Tips and Information
  • Use skinless, boundless chicken breast. The breast meat is the leanest with 28 gram containing just 1 gram of fat.
  • As you start frying, cook on the right temperature. The bread crumbs will detach from chicken if the temperature too low and it will burn if the temperature too high.

Gonjang-ganjing Harga Emas ketika Vaksin Covid-19 Ditemukan


Saat ini sejumlah calon vaksin virus Covid-19 telah memasuki uji coba fase ketiga atau tahap uji terakhir sebelum vaksin disetujui oleh BPOM dan disebarluaskan ke kalangan masyarakat. Untuk mendapatkan vaksin penangkal virus Covid-19, pemerintah dan ilmuwan telah bekerja keras melalui berbagai tahapan yang ditetapkan oleh WHO (World Health Organization). Tahapan yang telah dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: tahap pertama pengujian pra klinis dimana para ilmuwan menguji calon vaksin pada sel mahkluk hidup dan melakukan percobaan kepada hewan. Tahap kedua, para ilmuwan memberikan vaksin ke manusia dalam skala kecil kemudian melihat respon dan efeknya. Selanjutnya uji tahap ketiga, memberikan vaksin kepada manusia dalam jumlah besar. Jika uji tahap ketiga berhasil maka selanjutnya adalah persetujuan dini atau terbatas terkait legalitas dan keamanan calon vaksin. Finalnya, pemerintah dan regulator di setiap negara dapat memutuskan atau menolak calon vaksin tersebut.

Beberapa langkah lagi, proses vaksin akan menuju kondisi final. Terdapat beberapa jenis vaksin yang telah mencapai efektivitas sebesar 90% sebagai penangkal virus antara lain astrazeneca, pfizer dan moderna. Pemerintah Indonesia memilih Sinovac sebagai vaksin legal yang akan digunakan untuk melawan virus Covid-19. Kira-kira bagaimana ya respon pasar ketika pemerintah mengumumkan bahwa vaksin telah ditemukan dan siap disebarluaskan ke masyarakat?

Sejak runtuhnya sistem Bretton-Woods, emas telah mempertahankan fungsinya sebagai salah satu komoditas moneter dan memberikan informasi tentang prospek kebijakan moneter dalam waktu mendatang. Emas dikatakan menjadi salah satu komoditas lindung nilai. Namun ketidakstabilan harga emas kerap menjadi sorotan dari waktu ke waktu. Di bulan Maret saat virus Covid-19 mewabah di Indonesia harga emas masih berada di kisaran Rp 852.000/gram kemudian merangkak naik ke angka kurang lebih Rp 1 juta rupiah/gram dan kini kembali turun ke level Rp 898.000/gram (27 November 2020). Dinamika harga emas terkait dengan kondisi politik negara, wabah yang tak kunjung membaik, sentimen investor akan kondisi ekonomi dan penanganan pemerintah Indonesia akan wabah ini.

Hari ini emas jatuh ke level terendah dalam enam bulan terakhir seiring dengan meningkatnya optimisme investor akan penemuan vaksin yang akan memulihkan kondisi ekonomi. Selain itu, tanda tanda pemulihan ekonomi AS mendorong investor menjauh dari logam mulia yang disebut-sebut sebagai safe heaven ini. Investor kembali berinvestasi di aset berisiko. Beberapa indikator ekonomi di bawah ini menunjukkan upaya AS untuk membangun kembali ekonomi dalam era new normal.

Gambar di atas menunjukkan sebagian besar negara bagian di AS sudah 80-90% menjalani aktivitas dalam kondisi new normal. Beberapa negara bagian malah hampir 100% menjalani aktivitas seperti sediakala tentu dengan mematuhi protokol kesehatan yang berlaku. Dengan kembalinya aktivitas penduduk AS, sewajarnya akan berdampak pada perekonomian karena menunjang pengeluaran konsumsi dan belanja. Para pekerja kembali mendapatkan gaji mereka dan dapat melakukan perencanaan belanja sesuai kebutuhan masing-masing.

Salah satu indikator ekonomi yang menjadi tolok ukur perbaikan ekonomi AS adalah tingkat pengangguran. Ditunjukkan oleh grafik diatas bahwa saat awal wabah virus Covid-19, tingkat pengangguran meningkat pesat namun kini semakin berkurang jumlahnya. Pernyataan ini terkait dengan kembalinya aktivitas di luar rumah termasuk bekerja.

Lain halnya dengan kondisi bursa saham di AS. Indeks Dow Jones per tanggal 26 November 2020 masih menunjukkan indeks penurunan walaupun pada Agustus 2020 sempat menduduki area hijau. Wabah virus Covid-19 menyebabkan indeks Dow Jones turun sebesar 34%. Saat ini, investor belum mau membeli jenis aset dengan risiko tinggi seperti saham. Dinamika grafik seperti di atas tidak hanya terjadi di AS namun terjadi juga di negara-negara lain salah satunya Indonesia. Malah di sejumlah negara berkembang, pergerakannya lebih fluktuatif.

Pada awal bulan Desember, 1,2 juta dosis vaksin Sinovac telah tiba di Indonesia dan siap disuntikkan. Namun kenapa ya harga emas masih betah saja di level Rp 910.000? Apakah masyarakat masih kurang percaya akan vaksin tersebut? Harga logam mulia di Indonesia dipengaruhi oleh harga emas di pasar spot dan nilai tukar rupiah terhadap dolar AS. Nilai tukar rupiah berkisar antara Rp 14.000 – Rp 14.180 terjaga oleh sentimen pelemahan nilai dolar AS karena pengajuan proposal stimulus oleh Menteri Keuangan AS. Proposal tersebut berisi pengajuan bantuan Covid-19 bagi negara bagian dan lokal.

Penurunan harga emas masih mungkin terjadi saat vaksin disuntikkan pertama kali. So, mari kita wait and see menunggu peluang baik tersebut.

Sentimen Hasil Pemilu AS terhadap Harga Emas di Indonesia


Hasil pemilu AS yang diumumkan pada Jumat, 6 November 2020 menuai hasil bahwa kandidat presiden dari partai Demokrat Joe Biden akan menjadi orang nomor satu di Amerika Serikat. Ia mengalahkan calon presiden petahana Donald Trump dari partai Republik dengan selisih tipis. Apakah hasil pemilu AS memberikan pengaruh bagi kondisi ekonomi negara Indonesia? Kira-kira seberapa besar dampaknya terhadap harga emas dunia dan selanjutnya terhadap harga emas di Indonesia? Mari kita simak.

Pemilihan umum AS merupakan peristiwa penting yang memiliki peran besar tidak hanya untuk negara AS sendiri namun juga kondisi ekonomi global secara umum. Hasil pemilu menjadi isu utama bagi pergerakan pasar keuangan global dan pasar komoditas. Peningkatan volatilitas di pasar saham menjelang hari pemilihan dapat dilihat dari pergerakan indeks harga saham gabungan (IHSG). Terletak pada zona hijau, grafiknya cenderung meningkat hingga hari ini mencapai 5529,94 (17/11/2020). Pelaksanaan pemilu AS memberikan sentimen positif pada IHSG namun negatif bagi nilai tukar rupiah dan harga emas internasional. Para investor mencari ‘tempat berlindung’ bagi aset-aset mereka dan memilih emas sebagai safe heaven.

Mari kita lihat kembali pergerakan harga emas saat pemilu dilakukan di AS. Mayoritas harga emas naik secara signifikan setelah hasil pemilu disahkan dan diumumkan ke publik. Dampak isu politik tidak dapat diremehkan namun ada faktor-faktor lain yang juga berperan besar yaitu kondisi makroekonomi. Kondisi ekonomi yang lesu karena wabah Covid-19 dan adanya paket stimulus besar-besaran yang diperkenalkan pemerintah sewajarnya menyebabkan perubahan kondisi pasar keuangan.

Stimulus baru yang diusulkan Joe Biden dalam rangka membantu negara AS pulih dari kerusakan yang disebabkan oleh pandemi Covid-19 ialah sebesar 2,2 triliun dollar Amerika. Penggelontoran dana ini akan mendorong terjadinya inflasi. Tentu terdapat pro kontra atas usulan presiden baru Amerika ini. Belum lagi penolakan Donald Trump atas hasil pemilu mempersuli Biden untuk menjalankan propagandanya. Kondisi-kondisi ini menuntun ketidakpastian ditambah dengan pandemi Covid-19 yang tak kunjung usai. Tidak hanya agenda paket stimulus yang hendak dilaksanakan, Biden juga akan mengulangi rencananya untuk mengubah struktur pajak AS. Perubahan tersebut akan menghasilkan strutur pajak yang adil bagi yang terkaya dan perusahaan.

Dapat kita amati di atas pergerakan harga emas selama satu bulan terakhir. Pembaca dapat melihat lonjakan harga emas yang cukup signifikan dimulai pada tanggal 30 Oktober hingga 6 November saat dimana pemilu AS akan dilaksanakan. Bergerak dari semula $1870/ons menjadi $1950/ons, meningkat sebanyak 4%. Investor menangkap ketidakpastian kondisi politik dan juga ekonomi secara bersamaan. Pada masa krisis kesehatan dan ketidakpastian yang belum pernah terjadi sebelumnya mengarahkan investor untuk mengalihkan uangnya ke emas sebagai investasi yang lebih aman serta untuk menahan daya beli.
